While driving down the highway, I noticed my gas gauge needle was showing a little more than empty, so I began to look around for signs indicating which exit had which gas station. You have had this experience too, right? A few years back, I would have paid little or no attention to the signs at the gas station. I remember telling people, “I don’t worry about gas prices; I need gas, so I just get it. It’s a part of life, just like food or shelter.” Well, those days are gone. Now, just like most people I know, I search for the absolute lowest gas price I can find. Even a penny difference will make me choose one station over another, but even still, I am spending enormous amounts of money just to fill up my gas tank. Just by observing people, I know that others are experiencing the same frustration. Go to any public place, and you are almost guaranteed to hear one or more conversations involving the cost of gasoline.

With the fuel crisis biting into our pockets the need to find alternative sources of fuel has become greater and greater. We are already looking to gas sources in remote corners of the world when we could already be sitting on the most plentiful source of fuel: water. So you may ask can we really run a car on water? Is this science fiction or fact and is it even possible you may be wondering? You can stop wondering if it really is true, because the possibility that cars can run on water has been documented for the past 90 or so years and now more and more evidence of this technology being true is coming to our attention with real examples of car running on water and gas. In a 2006 a Piaggio Group study (makers of Vespa Gas Powered Scooters) found that 30% of people polled agreed that they could drive a gas powered scooter 35% of their daily travels. In 2005 almost 57,000 gas powered scooters were sold with a large majority of women making the scooter their ideal form of transportation. With today’s $4.00 a gallon plus gas prices and scooters getting close to 100 miles to the gallon or more, it is time to take a serious look at this option.

Ok, so starting with the larger performance mini moto parts. The largest part you could get for your mini moto is probably a big bore kit. This will increase the displacement of your mini moto and give you great power gains throughout the rev range. It is becoming cheaper and cheaper to buy these kits for your mini moto and they certainly give the greatest power gains for the money so these kits are highly recommended. However some mechanical knowledge may be required in order to fit one of these kits, it is basically putting a new engine in!

Diesel fuel and gasoline prices continue to skyrocket and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. For truck drivers, that’s disastrous because they have to use fuel to complete their job of transporting goods across the state, many times across the country. The cost of fuel has many truckers and trucking companies wondering, is it time to slow down?

Back in the 1973 during the Arab oil crisis, speed limits were reduced nationwide in an effort to cut back on fuel demands. This speed reduction has been credited with helping the US over the fuel slump then and its hope that reducing speeds will help with the current problem.

Water fuel conversion is the way things are going in 2008. Electric cars have been around for a while. The problem with electric cars is that they need a fully electric motor and a whole bunch of batteries. They are not particularly powerful or fast and need to be regularly recharged.

On the other hand, a water fuel conversion is a hybrid system. Water fuel conversion extracts energy from water, known as HHO. It uses the hydrogen to boost the performance and efficiency of a standard gasoline engine. Fortunately, that means anyone is capable of a water fuel conversion on just about any vehicle, gas or diesel.

We had heard a lot about the water for gas car, and decided to build water injection for my car. The process didn’t look that complicated after we had downloaded the plans. Thankfully we didn’t need any real mechanical ability as we didn’t possess tools or capabilities beyond the ‘handyman’ level.

Our family had an older second car, a ‘92′ Honda Civic and decided that would be the vehicle we would use.

In learning how to build water injection for my car it didn’t take long to figure out where everything goes. Being a bit of a technical guy (without mechanical skills) I like to know how stuff works and the water car concept was pretty easy to understand.

At last after a long time of searching for the perfect alternate fuel, there is one that can give some form of confidence for us to handle the high prices of fuels these days. The reports of price hike are always in the air. There are taking more and more percent of our budget every month. $3 per gallon is not one we would have expected a decade back. But it is there now and we are to face it. But consider the fact that water can be used instead of the conventional fuel!
