Bulgarian Language - An Overview

Bulgaria, a country in Eastern Europe and home to almost 8 million people, joined the European Union in 2007. It was one of the most visited tourist places in Europe last year, having no less than 7-8 million visitors.

The official language in Bulgaria is Bulgarian - a Slavic language at source but which, with time, has grown apart from its origin. Now, alongside the Macedonian language, it is one of the most modern Slavic languages in the world.

Bulgarian was the first Slavic written language. It was attested in the 9th century and the first text written in Bulgarian is a Bible translated from Greek by St. Cyril and St. Methodius.

Is Chinese Hard To Learn?

The first question my students always ask me woud be “Is Chinese hard to learn? I would say ‘YES, if you use the wrong method!”, So, for me, Chinese isn’t hard to learn at all, It’s just like when you first watch a magic trick, it’s amazing! But when you know the secret about it, you will be able to learn it very fast.

First, you need to know what category you want to be, I’ve divided learning Chinese into 3 category.

  • Category 1 - Beginner. If you just want to know a little bit about Chinese language, very basic conversation, and you won’t be using Chinese in your working environment. E.g. : Travelling.

One of the most productive projects that our worldwide education system could embark on in satisfying both its individual citizens’ and international educational interests simultaneously is to restructure our education systems to focus on students’ desires as early as possible, starting at the junior high school level and certainly no later than the freshman high school yuear.

Having attended college, being the son of a 30-year career public schoolteacher, and having served as a substitute teacher myself for a number of years, I feel that I have firsthand experience to support my point.
