Leave Your Burdens Behind

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Do feel as if you are walking through life carrying the huge burden of your worries and stresses on your back and shoulders, struggling to keep moving forward? Can you imagine that it is possible to move freely through life? That you can elicit a sigh of relief and feeling of lightness?

Imagination is a powerful human tool, and you can use it to take journeys to places without leaving your home. Because of this ability, you can lay your burdens down at the feet of a powerful being greater than yourself, Buddha or a mountain, whichever feels right for you. Thus, you can relieve yourself from everything that is weighing you down.

The Law Of Attraction - From The Handbook For A New Paradigm

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

In reading the “Handbook for a New Paradigm” telepathically channeled by George Green and which anyone can download for free.

I found myself achieving a level of self awareness and heightened consciousness that I have experienced with few other documents I have ever read. One literally becomes transformed simply in the reading of it.

One of the many points that are brought forth in this critically important document is something called the Universal Law of Attraction.

It states essentially that you “get back whatever you put out”.

Alcohol More Important Than Life

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

As a baseball fan, I appreciate the film “A League of their Own,” starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell. It’s the story about the women’s professional baseball league, which was started because major League Baseball feared that the leagues would have to shut down because of World War II. The story within the story is about Tom Hank’s character, Jimmy Dugan, who was selected to manage the team. Jimmy was still young enough to be playing, but his career was cut short due to injury, sustained after a night on the town.

Is Faith A Mental Attitude Or Fleeting Belief?

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Faith is things hoped for
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. Those things we can see and have knowledge of are part of our experience while those things we can’t see we must accept in faith: Material things are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Every day, we unconsciously exhibit faith; driving our car, crossing a bridge, flying on an airplane as well as many other things; we have faith in their safety and trustworthiness. It is in faith of our belief that we are able to reduce fear and anxiety to acceptable levels. While we believe something is going to work we still must have trust and have faith in its validity.

Universal Laws And The Handbook For The New Paradigm

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

In reading the “Handbook for a New Paradigm” telepathically channeled by George Green and which anyone can download for free.

I was struck by the simplicity and power of four Universal Laws that govern our reality that many of us have forgotten. They are well explicated in the Handbook and I refer you to them for a more lengthy discussion.

I will however mention one that I feel would make a great difference to the situation on this planet.

It is called the the Law of Allowance

Basically it states that ones should let others be, pure and simple.

Learning To Prioritize - Helping You Stay On Task

Categories: Self Improvement | June 9th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

If you have a lot of tasks at hand, you may find it very hard to stay focused on just one thing. Just when you get going on one item, something else comes up and you find your energy waning and your attention split into a dozen different directions.

When you function like this it can be awfully difficult to complete tasks the way you want it done and when it should be done. Learning to prioritize will help you stay on task, tending to one item before moving onto another. When you are busy and continually multi-tasking this can be a hard skill to learn, but it can be made easier through the use of prioritization affirmations.

What Is Visualization And How Can You Make It Work For You?

Categories: Self Improvement | June 8th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Visualization is essentially the process of guided imagery meditation. It’s getting yourself into a deeply-relaxed state and then using your mind to create positive images of something you want to, have, or be. Visualization is conscious creation. It’s using the power you were born with to live life on purpose, rather than by default.

Each of us creates our own reality, consciously or unconsciously. Either we choose to focus and thereby move in the direction of our dreams or we accept life as it comes, seemingly unaware of our unlimited capacity to take control and shape the details as we choose.

Let’s get real, ladies - sometimes you just don’t like some people. And on your wedding day, you sure don’t want to have someone lined up to sign your wedding guestbook who makes your skin crawl.

But how do you tactfully go about not inviting such a buffoon? And what about those clueless idiots who assume they’re invited and start talking to you about showing up? Have you resigned yourself to the fact that their signature will be one of the ones in your wedding guestbook - or are you going to do something about it?

Motivate Yourself To Eat Healthy

Categories: Self Improvement | June 8th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Eating healthy is something that we all know is important to our well-being yet, instead of preparing healthy meals, we stop at the drive-thru or we eat packaged foods or fried foods that are high in saturated fat and carbohydrates.

If we indulged every once in awhile it probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but too many of us indulge in these foods all the time and we are paying for it in the way of declining health and weight gain. Poor diet has even been linked to depression, so eating healthy really is important. Healthy affirmations can help your eating habit improve and can lead to a healthy lifestyle starting today!

Lessons Which Can Help And Enable Leaders To Grow Develop Mature And Provide Positive Leadership

Categories: Self Improvement | June 7th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

The lessons we learn here are there for a very real purpose - to teach us - to protect and guide us - and to provide us with the spiritual food and teaching which will enable us to grow and mature.

As we are read the Book of Exodus Chapter 17, take a moment to consider the scene and the context, and check the actual text. That is always important.

Moses has led the people of Israel across the Red Sea - and God - the same God and Father of our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ - had performed that mighty and amazing miracle - rescuing and saving His people - and dealing with those who chased them seeking to enslave them again.
